     Since its foundation in 1980 by S.Temel Taşkın, Taşyapı has realized a broad range of projects in the construction sector including turnkey projects, residences, hospitals, schools, business centers, social and sports facilities, industrial sites and restoration projects. With the construction of the Hotel Taşkın in 1996, Taşyapı entered the tourism sector in the Black Sea region of Turkey. Taşyapı has consistently applied its principles of quality, reliability, integrity and service to its clients and is proud to continue to uphold these values as it plans for the future.    

An institution befitting Istanbul

     Taşyapı İnşaat has added value to the city in which it has taken root. Operating with the consciousness that it is a part of Istanbul, with its productivity and its result oriented principles, Taşyapı is one of the sector’s respected leaders. 

     Since the year 2000, Taşyapı has been increasingly involved in projects geared to meeting the needs of Istanbul as a rapidly growing city with ever increasingly sophisticated needs both in terms of infrastructure and general development. Especially after the 1999 earthquake, Taşyapı became a much sought firm as it succesfully completed reinforcement of fire station buildings against earhquake. The reason why Taşyapı has become the preferred name in comprehensive and complex projects initiated by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality is that the firm stands by its reputation for reliability and experience.

Maximum support for cultural and social life

     What makes Taşyapı standout on the international platform is its high sense of responsibility and respect both for the environment and for social values. This vision rests upon a solid foundation of universal principles. As Taşyapı is conscious of its social responsibilities it seeks to furnish the city and its surroundings with cultural and social projects. Taşyapı has undertaken a wide range of projects in terms of building schools, amateur and professional soccer fields, municipal buildings for the arts and culture and theatres; and has taken on the restoration of long-standing facilities and buildings. Recently Taşyapı has completed the Fatih Municipality Service Building and Municipal Theatre, thus adding a monument to the culture of Istanbul. As a cultural responsibility it has completed the restoration of the historical Djumaya Mosque in Bulgaria and has been proud to be a respected contractor in the refurbishment and extension of Istanbul’s water system. Through Taşyapı’s efforts Istanbul’s water provider ISKI has been able to supply drinking water to hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses.

     Finishing each project successfully and on time, Taşyapı continues to operate with a sound technological and personnel base.
